The Story of Brazil-021

Brazil-021 School of Jiu-Jitsu was founded on a dream - to create a team united by the transformational art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Our origins trace back to two Black Belt professors, Andre Terencio and Hannette Staack. Despite their expertise, it was never just about trophies or titles. Their vision was a training environment that welcomed all - from champion athletes to everyday people seeking self-improvement.

The name celebrates both the deep roots and global growth of our art. "Brazil" honors the homeland where Jiu-Jitsu evolved from martial foundations into an empowering lifestyle. "021" gives a nod to Rio de Janeiro, the city whose area code birthed some of history's greatest grapplers.

Our diverse, close-knit team upholds the legacies of Grand Masters like Carlos and Helio Gracie. Their technical innovations and training philosophies paved the way for Jiu-Jitsu's worldwide impact.
